After a gruelling day of table tennis touranment fun I overcame all opposition to win my first open singles title. I would like to thank my fantastic girlfriend Claire for coming and supporting me the whole way, and on valentines day… Anyway it feels good to win something of reasonable local importance, makes all the practice worth while. Me and Kamal Hussain won the straight doubles too which was an added bonus.

As for the future, I need to set aside an hour or so each week for some service practice and spend some time really thinking about the game. Instead of just hitting the ball.
