This was the second time I have competed in this particular league and initially was my first glimpse at higher level table tennis. From what I understand it’s basically a league at town team standard competed over 2 seperate dates and each area submits a team (or teams) of 3 to compete with the other areas. Preston, Manchester, Blackpool, Ramsbottom and Barrow to name a few of the areas who entered a team. My particular team was named Ramsbottom C, I played alongside David Kay and Graham Young , unfortunately Liam Bedford couldn’t make it due to illness.
